Welcome to our newest page. We hope you have fun doing these activities with your family, while thinking about Anzac Day, and what it means to us. These items can also be used to decorate your homes and yards, to honour those who serve.
This year, we are inviting Shire of Northam families to mark the day in their yards. Local radio stations will be broadcasting the Dawn Service and 11 am Anzac Service. There will be a flyover at 11 am.
If you are sharing photos of how you commemorate Anzac Day this year, the Anzac Portal (https://anzacportal.dva.gov.au/) suggests using #AnzacAtHome to connect with others.

Colour in the Australian Flag.

Colour in the poppies, or use them as a template for your lanterns.

This was posted on the Aussies & Kiwis for ANZACs FaceBook page. They look very effective. Some people may be happy to cut around pictures and paste them onto the outside of the carton or a glass jar.
Enjoy creating a new family tradition with these ideas.
