The Labor candidate for Central Wheatbelt, Rebecca Atkinson accompanied by Darren West MLC visited the Northam Sub Branch today (Tuesday 25 Feb 2025) and met with members.
Rebecca said how impressed she was with the work done by the volunteers and the importance of their involvement with the veteran community.
Rebecca also announced a proposed grant of $15,000.00 for Sub Branch projects the major one being creating an admin centre to manage the branch, protect its records and history.
The full extent of which projects will proceed will not be known until after the election and funding is allocated,
The President and members present thanked Rebecca and Darren for this tangible support of the Sub Branch and its work.

Veterans and members of Northam RSL enjoyed the day on 8th October 2023.

The bowls Day was very successful with 10 teams on the green.
