Vivian’s mother-in-law had given her the postcards featured on the hanging, which are over 100 years old and were sent home from the trenches. The Northam RSL Ladies Auxiliary had the hanging framed and will display it in the Memorial hall.

The Northam RSL SB Auxiliary had another weekend away this past weekend.
Each day featured different activities.
The advanced party enjoyed a day spa, bingo, op shopping, and lunch at the local.

Everyone enjoyed the spoils of their raffle winnings.
On Sunday, we all dressed in our Pink clothing to support Pink up month the money raised on the day will be donated to the McGrath foundation.
We took a bus trip to Augusta and Margaret River. A cry went out from the back off the for Simmos Ice cream, which Geoff arranged along with a stop at the chocolate factory. One lucky individual got a lift to the cinema from locals after getting lost.
We’ve already booked next year’s trip, but don’t ask questions – what happens in Busso stays in Busso. Oh, and there was a snoring competition.
The happy ladies
