Administration Centre Opening

The 28th November saw the opening of the new Admin Centre for the Northam SB. Named after Long serving Life Member Geoff Scarterfield.

Also on the same night the Sub Branch Auxiliary had the opportunity to thank Sponsors and volunteers for 2025.

Below are several photos of people the Auxiliary thanked. Also the Auxiliary gave a cheque to the Northam Lions Club donation thanking them for their help on ANZAC Day.

Others thanked were Brenton Haynes from Oxter for their donation, and Robynn Haynes from the Northam Florist for looking after the sales for the event Christmas in July.

To all that volunteered their time over the year in different ways.  A big thank you to you all. I do apologise if I have missed anyone.

Looking forward to an even bigger year next year. With the Sub Branch celebrating their 110th birthday. Watch out for more details in the new year.

Just to give you the heads up put the 9th May on your calendar.

Northam RSL SB AUXILIARY coffee and cake Christmas lunch

The silly season has started early. The Auxiliary coffee and cake group decided to celebrate the end of the year before everyone gets too busy. Sharing a great meal and some silly lucky dip props.

The group meets up on a Tuesday afternoon from 1.00 to 3.00. They break during school holidays. As they are closing down soon they look forward starting up again the first Tuesday when school goes back in 2026.

New members are welcome.

Commemoration service

Mokine Memorial Service 5th October 2025

The day was wet and cool so the decision was made to hold the service in the Northam RSL Sub Branch Memorial Hall.

The Hall had been set up for the luncheon after the service, which is usually held at the Mokine Memorial in Mokine.

A quick re-arrange and the hall was transformed as shown in the photo’s.

After the Service, another quick re-arrange and the hall was ready for the luncheon.

See photo’s below for the full story.
